Solar Power

If you like to camp in national parks, or you like the quiet of a still outback evening, or simply want to be less reliant on mains power then Solar Power is the answer for you.

Solar power offers a convenient, silent power source without the fuel, noise or maintenance of generators. For caravanning, camping and 4WD, we offer a range of solar modules to meet your requirements.

To get the greatest benefit from having Solar Panels for Power generation you need to feed the power into an auxiliary battery (Deep Cycle SuperCharge) or Power Pack (Big Muvva Power Pack) that is true deep cycle to give you optimum power storage.

To establish what will best suit your requirements we need to work out what you are going to want to use while you are away and how long you want to go for.

Solar Panels

Ranging from 5W to 165W there will be either a Solar Panel to suit your needs or a system that can be designed and manufactured for you.

5W, 10W, 20W & 30W

The smallest of BP Solar's SX module series, photovoltaic modules operate DC loads with small to moderate energy requirements.

They charge 12V batteries efficiently in virtually any climate and generate nominal maximum power of 4.5W, 10W, 20W and 30W respectively.

40W, 50W, 65W, 80W, 125W & 165W

BP's high-efficiency photovoltaic module using silicon nitride multicrystalline silicon cells.

They charge 12V batteries efficiently in virtually any climate and generate nominal maximum power as listed respectively.

We also stock a range of smaller watt panels for a wide variety of uses.

Solar Regulators

Solar panels usually produce unregulated, highly variable power flow. In order for the system batteries to not be damaged, they must be used in conjunction with regulator or controller. This prevents the battery bank from being overcharged when it is full and causing irreparable damage to your batteries.
